What the EDI Viewer Shows

The Viewer reports the detected transaction type and provides a structured representation based on that transaction's useful review grain. An 835 focuses on claim payment information; an 837 presents claim and service context; enrollment, eligibility, and acknowledgment transactions use compact rows suited to their own occurrences. These projections are intentionally different because the underlying transactions answer different business questions.

The EDI View keeps source segments in order for Raw inspection. Use it to examine envelopes, transaction controls, loops, qualifiers, composites, and repeated elements alongside the structured display. Unsupported, malformed, or mixed-family input produces a bounded message instead of a fabricated transaction result.
