No. Supported conversion, editing, validation, and analysis run locally in your browser, reducing the need to transmit EDI file contents to the application server.
Do I need an account to try the converter?
No. Guest and Free access each include 3 successfully processed files per day across all supported EDI file types. Failed, malformed, or unsupported attempts do not permanently consume the allowance. Pro removes conversion limits and unlocks the full editing, analysis, layout, and reporting workflow.
Do both plans support every listed transaction type?
Yes. Free and Pro support all currently listed EDI file types, including 835, 837P, 837I, 837D, 834, 270, 271, 277CA, 999, 850, 855, 810, 856, 940, 945, 997, 846, 852. Free is intended for occasional use and includes up to 3 successfully processed files per day. Pro adds unlimited conversions and the full editing, analysis, saved-layout, and reporting workflow.
What counts as one conversion?
Each successfully processed file counts once toward the daily allowance. A batch counts once for each successfully processed file. Failed, malformed, or unsupported attempts do not permanently count.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes. Pro is billed monthly and can be managed through the Stripe billing portal from your account.
What happens to saved layouts if I cancel?
Your saved layouts are not deleted. On Free, existing layouts remain available to view and apply, but Pro is required to create or modify them.
Does validation guarantee payer acceptance?
No. Validation checks can identify issues covered by the enabled rules, but they do not guarantee payer, clearinghouse, or trading-partner acceptance.
